What we store

If you create an account we store your email address, a securely hashed password, and what you enter in the app: the coins on your watchlist, amounts, buy prices, exit levels, price alerts, notes and your notification settings. When you turn on notifications we store a technical address for your device so we can send them.

Without an account the app stores nothing about you on our servers. Your currency, language and day/night choice are kept on your own phone or in your own browser.

Importing from an exchange

When you import your portfolio with an API key, the key and secret are sent once to our server, used to read your balances and trades for that one import, and then forgotten. We never store them. Use a key that can only read. A CSV file you import is read the same way: we keep only the coins, amounts and average prices you choose to save.

Altseason Radar Pro

Payments go through Google Play (in the Android app) or our payment provider on the web, managed by RevenueCat. We never see your card details. We store whether your Pro subscription is active and until when, linked to your account.

Ask the Radar (AI)

When you use Ask the Radar (Pro), your question is sent to Anthropic together with your coins, amounts, buy prices, exit levels, notes, your sale log and today’s market data, so the answer can follow your own plan. Your email address and other account details are not sent. Anthropic processes this to produce the answer and does not use it to train its models. We count how many questions you ask per day; we do not store the questions or answers.

Exit coach, sale log and Radar users

Sales you log are stored with your account and used for your plan score. Once a day we count totals over all users (for example how many have an exit plan), shown without names; a coin is only named when at least three people follow it.

Feedback

When you send feedback from the app, we store your message and send it by email to the maker through Resend. If you allow a reply, your email address is included. If you choose to, the app version, your phone’s system, your language and whether you have Pro are added to help with problems.

Testers

If you sign up as a tester on our website, we store the email address and the kind of phone you give, only to invite you to the test in Google Play. Ask us to remove it at any time.

Crash reports

If the Android app stops unexpectedly, it sends a crash report the next time it opens: the error text and technical trace, the app version, the Android version and the phone model. It is sent without your account or email address, stored with the feedback and emailed to the maker through Resend, only to fix the problem.

What we use it for

Only to show you your portfolio and to send the notifications you asked for. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share it with anyone except the services that run the app: Supabase (database and login), Vercel (hosting and backups), Google Firebase (push notifications in the app), RevenueCat (Pro subscriptions), Resend (feedback emails) and Anthropic (Ask the Radar).

Market data

Prices and market data come from public sources (CoinGecko, alternative.me, Yahoo Finance, DefiLlama, Mobula, Polymarket and the RSS feeds of crypto news sites). These services do not receive your personal data.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays as long as you have an account. Notifications in your inbox are deleted after 90 days. Every night an encrypted backup of the database is made and stored with Vercel (our hosting); each backup is deleted after 30 days.

Deleting your data

Go to Account and choose “Delete my account”. Your account and everything stored with it are deleted right away; copies in the backups disappear within 30 days. Feedback you sent stays, without any link to you. See also how to delete your account.
